Class Details
Melt away winter’s chill at an oceanfront oasis in Todos Santos, Mexico. Days begin with mindful morning yoga rooted in the lengthening principles of Pilates lead by Michelle. Afternoons are spent learning to surf or simply relaxing poolside. The day’s physical activities wrap up with Pilates classes, which will focus on stabilizing and strengthening. Later, enjoy an evening of high-energy Salsa-inspired dance. This unique week will leave you feeling toned, balanced and refreshed.
About Michelle Gantz (Via Yoga Co-Founder)
Michelle’s blended classes of Pilates and yoga are fun, informative, and supportive. Students of all levels are welcome. When teaching, she draws from her extensive background and training in the physical and energetic aspects of movement and healing. A co-founder of Via Yoga, Michelle has been a licensed massage therapist since 1994 and a certified yoga instructor since 1999. Michelle is also a certified STOTT PILATES instructor and STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer. When Michelle is not hosting retreats with Via Yoga, she is busy in Seattle working with her private bodywork clients and teaching private yoga/ Pilates clients.
About Anne Vick
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Anne came to New York to study dance and theatre at New York University. Here, she earned a BFA in Performance and a BA in English. Her love for Pilates began as a girl, when she was introduced to it as part of her training with Colorado Ballet. Many years later, after a car accident in the city, Pilates helped nurse her body back to health. Anne's experience inspired her to become a teacher and share the benefits of Pilates with others! Certified through Balanced Body Pilates, she teaches at several of New York’s most prestigious studios. Anne's classes incorporate her joy of movement with breath and specific intention which meld together for a workout that is both challenging and fun! In addition to teaching Pilates, she performs in musical theatre and dance shows in New York City and regionally.
