Via Yoga Vacations include:
- Daily 90-minute Yoga class with Julie Andres
- Daily 60-minute Functional Beach Workout with Mike Hardin
- Three surf lessons throughout the week (more or less could be added)

Class Details
Challenge your body and mind with one of Via Yoga’s most physically demanding retreats. Join Julie and Mike and improve physical conditioning with a combination of Yoga, Fitness and Surfing. We will truly explore the concept of work, rest, and play, where as with most things, balance is key. Mornings will begin with Mike leading a 60-minute functional beach workout which will focus on strength, aerobic conditioning and agility. Afternoons will be spent learning to surf or simply relaxing by the pool. Your evening yoga class will combine vinyasa flow with with some restorative yoga poses providing the perfect balance to end your day of fun in the sun. If you’re looking for an active retreat, please join us! (all yoga, surf and fitness levels welcome)
About Julie
Julie has had a life-long love for the science of yoga. She has found purpose in helping people with their daily struggles through the use of breath and movement. Inspired by nature, Julie devotes her practice to a higher power: the changing of the seasons; the miracle of life and death; the ability to love and be loved. Influenced by Baron Baptiste, Eiric Orvid and Dee Hine, her classes reflect their unique styles of practice and sequencing, focusing on linking movement with the breath. As an instructor Julie is compassionate and nurturing as she teaches how to apply the principles found in nature and yoga to our daily lives.
About Mike
Mike is a Seattle based personal trainer certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. With eleven years training experience, Mike has developed a highly effective coaching style making him very popular among those interested in improving their overall fitness and reaching specific training goals. His wide-range of expertise includes weight loss, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, rehab, and sports specific performance training. Having the opportunity to work with various clients and groups over the years, Mike understands that there is no set path to improving ones fitness level. He believes that most gains and growth occur when an individuals program is flexible allowing him or her to adapt to life’s obstacles. Mike recognizes that the ability to balance work, rest and play is one component of a successful program. The other is keeping it fun! Mike’s philosophy is that with levity and playfulness, learning becomes natural, progress happens faster, and short-lived fitness goals turn to life-long changes.
