Class Details
We’re very excited to introduce Nosara, Costa Rica as Via Yoga’s newest retreat location and Sandra Tedeschi, a Nosara local, as one of our Instructors. Sandra teaches a Vinyasa flow, synchronizing the asanas, or poses with the breath creating a rhythmic flow. Days will begin with a mid morning surf lesson led by local instructors, a perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of catching your first wave. After surfing, enjoy a relaxing lunch by the pool, take a walk on the beach, or explore the charming community of Nosara. The afternoon wraps up with a two-hour yoga class in an open-air yoga studio surrounded by tropical gardens. It’s about the integration of mind, body and breath with a focus on improved flexibility, balance and strength to build and maintain a healthy body. You will quickly see the synergy between yoga and surfing and be able to fully feel the flow in each. Practicing yoga and surfing immersed in the magical energy of Costa Rica’s pura vida naturally leaves one blissfully relaxed and lifted with inspiration. All levels welcome.
