The surf and sun beckons you! Get away from the confines of your hectic daily life: practice, play and renew with yoga in a tropical paradise. Explore the dynamic interplay of breath and movement to connect mind and body. Unique Sun salutation-based flow link postures in a holistic manner leaving the body cleansed, the mind clear and refreshed! Classes are invigorating - building internal heat to detoxifying muscles and organs, balance strength with flexibility, and cultivate peace in the heart and peace in the mind. The yoga mat becomes the playground for an internal dialogue creating transformation and a deeper connection to self as well as connection to the world and community around us. Between morning and afternoon yoga classes, you will spend time mastering the waves of Sayulita on a surf board under the expert instruction of local surfers!
About Kimberly
Based in San Francisco, Kimberly has traveled extensively studying and teaching yoga in the US and Europe for the last 14 years. Inspirations for her work in holistic nutrition and yoga are found in nature, her surroundings, friends, family and the rich textures of life’s everyday moments. She has developed a singular teaching style that is informative, challenging, honest, and organic - her love, passion and deeply profound respect for the practice of yoga comes through in each class she teaches. Emphasizing breath, bandhas, and alignment, her classes are a creatively flowing, invigorating exploration of asana challenging you at your level. Within an iconoclastic space, she hopes to create a sense of joy that might touch ones heart, ones' life.
